Description
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is perhaps the most well-known tea in Greek homes.
Its small yellow flowers give a drink a soft, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of apple.
Many people drink it at night with a spoonful of honey, others cold in the summer with lemon.
The flowers are dried, without additives.
Instructions for use
For one cup, add 1–2 teaspoons of flowers to just-boiled water.
Cover, leave for 5–10 minutes and strain.
For iced tea, let it cool and serve with ice and lemon.
