Instructions for use

  • Infusion (15-20 grams of flowers, in 1 liter of water): For the infusion, boil 15-20 grams of thyme flowers in 1 liter of water. This infusion has diaphoretic properties and can be used to treat colds, rejuvenate the genitals, help rickets children, and treat paralysis of the tongue. It can also help relieve headache from colds, against dropsy, and relieve laryngitis through tickling.
  • Baths with thyme for chronic rheumatism and arthritis: In cases of chronic rheumatism and arthritis, thyme baths are recommended. Additionally, smoking thyme can help relieve lymphedema.
  • Using thyme as a lotion: Thyme infusion can be used as a lotion to treat scabies and severe ulcers.
  • Fresh thyme in a pot for the "stravolimiasma" (with gauze, very hot on the throat): In cases of "stray throat", you can heat fresh thyme, dry in a kettle, and apply it to your throat with gauze.
