The perek is the authentic Pontic pie, made in the traditional way that keeps the Pontic heritage alive. The leaves are made from dough with only two simple ingredients: flour and water, and are baked in the saj, a special sheet over a fire, without a trace of preservatives. Roasting over a natural fire gives the perek its authentic taste, while the resulting dehydration preserves it for a year out of the refrigerator.

Ideal for pies, cheesecakes or other creative recipes, our perek sheets are available in a 20cm diameter, offering a light, healthy and delicious base for any meal.
